In winter you can explore the Kaprun Zell am See and the surrounding area. For more extensive though not necessarily more expensive shopping and sightseeing there are full days tours to Salzburg. In the summer there is a half day tour to th e Hohe Tauern National Park as well as a full day trip to the Grossglockner, the highest mountain in Austria.
